How It Works:
- Open Hammer Hub
- Tap the red "Get a Ride," button then choose Uber.
Hammer Hub will route you into the voucher claim flow. - Tap "Use Certificate."
A voucher link opens (looks like an Uber vouchers page). - Accept the voucher and claim it in the Uber app. Tap “Claim in the Uber app” (or “Accept voucher”) to save the $20 credit to your Uber account.
- Confirm it saved. You should see a confirmation screen like “Voucher saved to your account.” In Uber, it will appear in Wallet → Vouchers.
- .Book your ride in Uber. During the eligible holiday window, the voucher should apply automatically to an eligible trip.
Quick notes before you ride:
- Vouchers are valid only for rides within Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. If your pickup or drop-off falls outside these states, the voucher won’t apply.
- Use a personal Uber profile (vouchers won’t work on business profiles).
- Add a payment method in Uber, even if the voucher covers the ride total.
- Tips aren't covered by the voucher.

How do I view the voucher in my account?
- Once the Uber voucher is claimed within the Hammer Hub app, open your Uber app and tap Account.
- Tap “Wallet.”
- Scroll down and tap “Vouchers.”
Do I need the Uber app?
Yes, you must be signed into the Uber app to claim the voucher. If you do not have the Uber app, it can be downloaded from the App Store (for Apple iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
How much is my voucher worth?
Each voucher provides $20 in Uber credit toward an eligible ride. If your fare costs more than $20, the remaining balance will be charged to the payment method on your Uber account. Tips are not covered by the voucher.
Do I have to enter a payment method on the Uber app to claim the voucher?
Do I need a payment method in Uber to use the voucher?
Yes. A valid payment method is required in the Uber app to redeem the voucher—even if the voucher covers your entire fare. Any remaining fare or tip will be charged to your selected payment method.
Can I claim my Uber voucher outside of the Uber event?
The vouchers are only good during the holiday events at the specified dates and times.
I received an error message when trying to use my voucher. What should I do?
- Double check that the personal payment method you are using is correct.
- Vouchers currently will not work with cash, Apple Pay or Android Pay.
- Additionally, make sure that the credit card you’ve selected is working properly. Even if your voucher covers the entire trip, it will still require a valid form of payment to be selected.

Will a voucher work on my Uber Business Profile?
No. Vouchers are not valid on business profiles. Make sure you’re using a personal profile in order to redeem.
Why does the app say “Rides unavailable” or “No rideshare companies found in this area”?
If a holiday is live and you see this message, it usually means all available vouchers have already been claimed. When vouchers run out, the app may display a “rides unavailable” message even if Uber is operating normally in your area. Check back for future voucher drops on upcoming holidays.
