Bio
Rob Ott graduated from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY on an Army ROTC scholarship. After attending “jump school” at Ft. Benning, Rob was assigned to Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Following his Army service, Rob went to earn his JD from the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2007.
Rob initially worked for a boutique medical malpractice defense company, where he developed his litigation skills, including all aspects of preparing a case for trial, and trying a case. After leaving that firm, Rob went on to join a large regional civil defense firm and continued to try cases. Rob is licensed in Kentucky, Indiana and Florida and has experience in both State and Federal Courts.
Rob brings a unique perspective, given his years preparing and trying cases for civil defendants. A perspective that is invaluable to those Plaintiffs he now represents. Rob has successfully argued before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Court of Appeals. Rob has been recognized in The Best Lawyers of America; Kentucky Super Lawyers and named twice to the Kentucky Most Prolific Trial Attorneys list.
Rob enjoys spending time with his daughter, playing golf and attending University of Louisville athletic events.
