Bio
Robert Garwood graduated from the University of Southern Indiana, where he received undergraduate degrees in advertising and public relations, and political science. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University McKinney School of Law. During law school, Robert received the Mary H. Mitchell Service Award for providing over 100 hours of pro bono legal services. He was selected to the 2012 Order of the Barristers as part of the McKinney Moot Court Competition and participated in the 2013 National Health Care Law Moot Court Competition, early experiences that strengthened his skills as an emerging litigator.
Since law school, Robert has devoted his practice to personal injury law, representing clients in cases involving serious injuries and complex legal issues. He has twice been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for his work in personal injury litigation within the State of Indiana (2023 and 2024). Robert has experience handling high-value personal injury cases, including claims in excess of one million dollars, and he is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an honor reserved for attorneys who have achieved exceptional results for their clients.
As a multi-state personal injury attorney, Robert is licensed in state courts across Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and Florida. He is also admitted to practice before several federal courts in Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois, allowing him to advocate for clients across multiple jurisdictions.
Robert is devoted to his clients and strives to achieve the absolute best outcomes in every case he handles. His commitment to justice and client-focused representation drives his work as a trusted personal injury lawyer. When Robert is not working for his clients, he enjoys running, playing guitar, painting, and spending time with his family.
