She is currently admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and Puerto Rico. Born in Puerto Rico, she is fluent in both Spanish and English. While working in Puerto Rico, her practice focused on civil and family law.
She moved to Kentucky in 2014 and started working as a Researcher for the Louisville Metro Human Relations Commission, where she started the implementation of the 20 Year Action Plan for Fair Housing and developed the Fair Housing Assessment Tool.
While working with the Louisville Metro Human Relations Commission, she was able to see firsthand how Hispanics struggle in their daily lives because of their lack of legal status. This drove her desire to work with immigrants in order to help them ease their legal fight.
