Andrew Howell

Andrew Howell graduated from the Centre College with a major in Economics. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 2009 from the University of Kentucky College of Law. He is certified to practice before all Courts in Kentucky.

His primary practice areas include personal injury, MVA, S/F, Dogbite, and medical malpractice.  

Andrew has won numerous 7 figure settlements for his clients, the most recent being in 2023, when he won $1.2 million against a commercial utility truck. The same year, he took on and won $1.4 million against a garbage truck operator.

The 1.4 million dollar settlement this year was unexpected. My client rear-ended a garbage truck on a highway. I was able to successfully argue that the garbage truck operator was negligent for driving a disabled vehicle and that my client was not able to avoid it. The claim was initially rejected.

Andrew grew up in Eastern KY. Floyd County, KY, and has a strong family network there. He considers his dad to be his foremost source of inspiration. He was a coal miner all his professional life and worked tirelessly to support this family. Andrew is deeply devoted to his partner, D.C. Strom, and adores his 9-year-old son, Gary. For him, coming out represents, in equal measure, the best and worst things that happened in his life, but he now feels blessed.

When he is not working, Andrew enjoys working out, traveling, cooking, watching UK sports, and coaching his son’s flag football team. Visiting all seven continents is the ultimate dream he cherishes.

Besides English, Andrew Howell is fluent in Spanish as he spent a semester in Mexico during college.
