Jefferson County Fire Services, TV station WDRB and Isaacs & Isaacs have all teamed up for two special summer events promoting bicycle safety. We’ll be giving away a free kids’ bicycle helmet to every child in attendance!

Firefighters, Free Helmets and Fun!
The Buechel Fire Department in Louisville, KY invites you to their open house and bicycle helmet giveaway event on Wednesday, June 19 from 10am-12noon.
You and the family will have some unique opportunities to learn about Louisville’s brave firefighters and explore the station!
- Get your free kids’ bicycle helmet
- Learn more about bike helmet safety
- Take a free tour of the Buechel Fire Department
- Meet firefighters
- Get photos with WDRB’s Snow Fox Mascot
- Meet and greet with attorney Darryl Isaacs – “The Hammer”
Guidelines for Getting Your Free Bike Helmet
- Kids must attend event and be present to receive a helmet for proper fitting
- Limit of one helmet per child please
- Should we not have a helmet in the size needed, you will be provided with a voucher. Isaacs & Isaacs will contact you when a helmet in your size has arrived and it can be picked up at our Jeffersontown office.
